She is the Executive Director of Just Health Action (JHA) and a clinical instructor at the University of Washington.

JHA is a non-profit organization in Seattle, Washingon, that develops and facilitates workshops for youth and adults about how social, political, and economic inequalities affect the health of our society. Linn has been teaching health equity workshops at community health care centers, health departments, universities, community settings, and other venues around the country since 2004. JHA’s Critical Health Literacy framework has been published in national and international journals.

In collaboration with communities, JHA also conducts research on inequities to influence decision makers. This has involved co-authoring a health impact assessment, a cumulative health impact analysis, and a Vietnamese subsistence fishers study in Seattle’s Duwamish Valley.
