William (Bill) Daniell is a nonpracticing physician and an epidemiologist at the University of Washington Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences. 

His interests include a mix of teaching, research, and public health practice. In his own words, he is proud to have evolved from a specialist into a generalist in public health and an advocate for the ability of public health to promote equity, social justice, and evidence-based action.

Bill headed the team that completed a health impact assessment of the proposed cleanup plan for the Duwamish Superfund site. He is a member of the advisory group for the Green-Duwamish Watershed Strategy, and recently became a member of the King County Board of Health.
