Barb Rose brings together public health practitioners and faculty from the University of Washington to design and implement trainings needed throughout the six-state region. She frequently travels to public health organizations and attends conferences to establish relationships with practitioners throughout the Northwest.

Barb coordinates activities and curricula for NWCPHP's Summer Institute for Public Health Practice and Patient Centered Outcomes Research Partnership programs. 

Barb joined NWCPHP in 2011. Prior to that, she worked for 10 years in various school settings as a teacher and social worker. She holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Washington.
