Cover of Spring 2011 issue

October 31, 2011

Have you ever wanted to share a fresh approach to addressing public health issues with your colleagues? Do you have experience with developing or validating an evidence-based public health innovation? If so, we would like to hear from you.

The journal Northwest Public Health (NPH) is a regional public health journal sponsored by the University of Washington School of Public Health and produced by NWCPHP. We are eager to publish articles that showcase thoughtful, validated approaches to public health problems and practice.

For our next issue, we are looking for two-page (1,300 word) articles that relate to the theme, “Innovative Approaches to Improving the Public’s Health.” We seek stories from the six-state region of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming.

Articles published in NPH are peer-reviewed to ensure they have maximum relevance and impact for public health practice. The primary mission of NPH is to strengthen public health practice and the health of the public. We do this by promoting the development and sharing of knowledge within the public health practice and academic communities. Our next issue will be released in Spring 2012.

For more information about NPH, please go to our website. You are also welcome to contact Candace Tkachuck, Managing Editor, at cyt@u.washington.edu.
