Travel Assistance

The Summer Institute brings together professionals from across the nation, each from a unique organizational setting and each contributing different workplace experiences. NWCPHP values this diversity and the exciting conversations and learning that result, but understand that for some participants, limited training and travel funds pose a barrier to registration.

We are offering limited travel assistance (up to $250 per person) through grant 1UB6HP27883 from the Health Resources and Services Administration. To request funds, participants must complete and submit the travel assistance form with their application. Priority will be given to those with the highest need and who submit their request first.

Note: travel assistance funds use a reimbursement structure. Participants selected to receive assistance will need to submit documentation of travel costs to receive reimbursement.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

All cancellations must be in writing. Refunds, less a $50 cancellation fee, will be issued up to July 18; after that date, registration fees are forfeited. Participant substitutions are permitted at no charge up to July 18. After that date, a $50 fee will be issued. No substitutions are allowed after July 22.

Course Changes and Waiting List

Course changes are allowed at no charge up to July 18, 2015. Course changes after this date will require a $50 course-change fee. If a course is canceled due to low numbers, participants will be notified and moved to their second choice at no extra cost.

People on the waiting list will be notified if space becomes available and will have 14 days to pay their registration.
