The Summer Institute has historically been held in Seattle's University District, 10 minutes from downtown Seattle and just blocks from Lake Washington and chic shopping at University Village. This oasis in the city is a perfect place to fine-tune your public health skills and meet fellow professionals. The University of Washington provides a stimulating learning environment; courses will be held at William H. Gates Hall. The surrounding area offers a number of lodging options for you.

 

Lodging

The Burke-Gilman trail—a 27-mile paved trail for walkers, runners, and bicyclists—runs through the UW campus.
