The Summer Institute for Public Health Practice is a three and a half day, hands-on training for experienced Pacific Northwest practitioners to build critical skills needed for the public health of tomorrow.

Participants have the opportunity to:

  • Choose a targeted learning focus for the week from six different courses
  • Attend plenary sessions with national public health leaders
  • Network and learn from other professionals from around the Northwest region

The Summer Institute for Public Health Practice is held on the University of Washington’s Seattle campus, 10 minutes from downtown Seattle and blocks from Lake Washington—a perfect setting to fine-tune your professional skills, network with peers from around the region, and enjoy summer in the Pacific Northwest.
