Summer Institute Overview

The Summer Institute for Public Health Practice is a three-and-a-half day, hands-on training for public health practitioners to build critical skills needed for the future of public health.

Summer Institute participants have the opportunity to:

  • Choose one highly interactive course to focus on for the duration of the Institute
  • Attend plenary sessions with national public health leaders
  • Network and learn from other professionals from around the Northwest

 

2014 Summer Institute Quick Facts

When: August 4–7, 2014

Where: South Campus Center, University of Washington, Seattle

Learning Environment: In-person; class size 10–30 people

Registration Deadline: Early bird ends May 31, 2014. Final registration has been extended and closes on July 9, 2014.

Cost: $1,200 per person / $1,100 per person for groups of three or more (early bird special) or $1,500 per person / $1,400 per person for groups of three or more (regular price).
