Summer Institute Overview

The Summer Institute for Public Health Practice is a two-and-a-half day, hands-on training for public health practitioners to build critical skills needed for the future of public health.

Summer Institute participants have the opportunity to:

  • Choose one highly interactive course to focus on for the duration of the Institute
  • Attend a plenary session with national public health leaders
  • Network and learn from other professionals from around the Northwest

Summer Institute Quick Facts

When: August 1–3, 2016

Where: University of Washington's South Campus Center, 1601 NE Columbia Rd, Seattle, WA 98195

Format: In-person; class sizes typically range from 10–30 people

CEUs: Offering CME, CNE, CEU, CECH, and CPH. Learn more

Registration Deadline: Registration for the 2016 program is closed.

Cost: $1,200 per person. Travel assistance (up to $250 per person) is available.
