How to Register with SmartPH

Please Note: Licenses for the SmartPH system are only available for Washington Department of Health (DOH), Local Health Jurisdictions, and Tribal Health. However, if you do not fall into one of these categories, you can still register for Hot Topics through WAPHTN.

  1. Visit https://fortress.wa.gov/doh/smartph/.
  2. Click “Register for SmartPH” below the login fields.

  3. Follow the steps for SmartPH Registration to create your SmartPH profile.
  4. The SmartPH system should recognize you and register you automatically. If it does not, your profile goes to a queue and may take up to a few hours to be approved.
  5. Once your account has been created, follow these instructions to register for Hot Topics.
