How to Register for Hot Topics through SmartPH

  1. If you do not have a SmartPH account, follow these instructions to register for SmartPH.
  2. Log on to SmartPH at https://fortress.wa.gov/dop/smartph/ with your username and password.
  3. Click “Take Courses” to launch SmartPH.
  4. From the Home tab, click the “Catalog” icon.
  5. Search for “hot topics” and click the title of the resulting item to view the description page.

  6. Click the "Register" button.

  7. Check the desired class and click the "Enroll in this Class" button.

  8. The day before the session, you will receive an e-mail containing a link to join the online session and telephone dial-in information for the audio. Use this information to access the session.
