Continuing Education Credit

Continuing education credit is available for many of our courses. Please see each course description page marked with a CEs icon for more details about the type of credit available.

Several courses, including all of the modules in our epidemiology series and workforce resiliency series, are co-provided by the University of Washington School of Nursing (UWSON). After you successfully complete any module co-sponsored by UWSON by passing the final assessment and completing the evaluation, you will be directed to a registration form which you may complete and submit to the UWSON CNE office in order to receive a contact hour certificate.

A processing fee of $35 is required for each certificate. If you plan to complete several courses, you may submit multiple registration forms together with a PH LearnLink transcript for a single processing fee. You will receive one certificate listing each of the courses completed and contact hours earned.

Professional Credit

Nurses:

  • The University of Washington School of Nursing (UWSON) is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
  • UWSON is approved as a clock hour provider by the Washington State Board of Education.
  • Provider is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #07218.

Psychologists: UWSON qualifies as a Washington State continuing education program sponsor under the Washington Administrative Code, WAC 246-924-240(1).

Social Workers and Counselors: UWSON qualifies as a Washington State continuing education program sponsor under the Washington Administrative Code, WAC 246-810-620.

Other Disciplines: A certificate of contact hours earned will be awarded for use in documenting completion of this continuing education offering.
