Preparing for and Responding to Bioterrorism: Information for the Public Health Workforce
Intended Audience
Public health workers who would be responding to a bioterrorism event or who are seeking more information about bioterrorism preparedness.
Format
This curriculum is divided into six major sections: Introduction to Bioterrorism, Emergency Response Planning, Diseases of Bioterrorist Potential, Health Surveillance and Epidemiologic Investigation, Consequence Management, and Communications and Informatics.
The slide sets and accompanying instructor's manuals are designed for the in-person training and education of public health workers, or for independent study.
