Area Health Education Centers (AHECs) in Montana and Washington are offering trainings using the "Preparing for and Responding to Bioterrorism" materials that were developed by the Northwest Center for Public Health Preparedness.
Bioterrorism Preparedness Trainings for Rural Primary Care Providers in Washington State
Western Washington Area Health Education Center and the Area Health Education Center at WSU Spokane have developed an integrated plan to provide bioterrorism preparedness education and training to rural primary care providers. The goal is to develop and/or access bioterrorism educational resources, deliver Bioterrorism education to health care providers, encourage education and training throughout community based hospitals and clinics, and provide access to information and learning resources on Bioterrorism.

Montana State University Bioterrorism Education and Training
In affiliation with the Regional WWAMI AHEC at the University of Washington School of Medicine and the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, the Montana AHEC, in partnership with other programs at Montana State University, developed a Bioterrorism Education and Training Program.
Bioterrorism Education and Training and general information on bioterrorism is available to health care providers, public health workers, and to the general public in Montana. Educational courses, materials, and information can be accessed in a variety of ways including:

The primary educational resource for bioterrorism education will be a series of course modules developed by the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice at the University of Washington School of Public Health and Community Medicine.
