What is iLinc?

iLinc is the web conferencing application used by NWCPHP. iLinc works well on computers with both high-speed and slower Internet connections. iLinc allows presenters to upload and present PowerPoint slides, record iLinc sessions, upload participant photographs, and grant control of the presentation to other participants. Other features of an iLinc web conference include:

  • Synchronized web browsing
  • Videoconferencing (NWCPHP does not use this feature in our trainings)
  • An electronic whiteboard (allows you to draw, write, or import images)
  • Application sharing (share Word, Excel, or other documents from your computer with all participants)
  • Chat (type messages to one or all of the participants)
  • Participant polling
