Public Health Informatics Competencies Context

These public health informatics competencies are intended to supplement the core competencies of the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice.

The informatics competencies were developed within the larger context of the Global and National Implementation Plan for Public Health Workforce Development. This plan is the result of an ambitious public health workforce initiative involving a diverse partnership of public health professionals in government, academic, and practice communities.
