Northwest Public Health
Northwest Public Health is the biannual journal of the University of Washington School of Public Health. It began in 1979 as an alumni magazine for the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of Washington. It was called Washington Public Health and later became a joint publication for the School and the newly formed Washington State Department of Health.
In 2001, the journal was renamed Northwest Public Health as a new dean positioned the journal as a forum for practitioners and scholars in the six-state region. The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice has been responsible for publishing Northwest Public Health since 2009.
On the Northwest Public Health website, www.nwpublichealth.org, you will find the most current issue and archives of older issues.
