Web redesign wins APEX 2010 Award of Excellence
July 22, 2010
Our redesigned NWCPHP Web site won an award of excellence in the 2010 APEX competition. Peer reviewers selected it as one of the most improved Web sites entered.
Designer Missie Thurston and webmaster Rich Bruch converted a static site to one with dynamic content that includes calendar entries and regularly updated news items. The site's design and photos give it a strong visual presence, but the site also has a wealth of training modules and archived presentations for public health professionals.
The APEX Awards for Publication Excellence are an annual competition for writers, editors, designers, and business and nonprofit communicators. It is sponsored by Communications Concepts, Inc., publishers of business communication reports.
