Training and informational resources for 2009 H1N1 novel influenza A (swine flu) pandemic
One of the greatest opportunities for public health to demonstrate leadership is during periods of actual or possible disease outbreaks. With the current attention to novel H1N1 (swine) influenza A, we thought it might be helpful to call your attention to some specific training modules. The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice provides many types of training on a wide range of public health topics, and many of them specifically related to public health preparedness and response. These courses are flexible and free of charge.
The following four training modules are relevant to the activities and concerns raised by the current H1N1 (swine) flu situation:

- New! A team from the Washington State Pharmacy Association (WSPA), NWCPHP, and PHSKC developed a template Collaborative Drug Therapy Agreement (CDTA) for Influenza Antiviral Medications under a contract with WA State DOH, supported via CDC pandemic preparedness funds.
