Northwest Public Health journal wins 2009 APEX Award for Publication Excellence

Northwest Public Health has won an award of excellence in APEX 2009, a nationwide program that recognizes excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and communications effectiveness in a variety of media. The award was for the journal's fall/winter 2008 issue, "Climate Change: Challenging Public Health." Susan Allan is editor-in-chief and Katherine Hall managing editor of the journal, which is published by the University of Washington School of Public Health and serves the academic and practice communities in a six-state region.
