As part of your work, do you visit homes to provide health or inspection services? If so, the “Essentials for Healthy Homes Practitioners Course” will be of interest to you.
This course is offered periodically through NWCPHP, and we are pleased to announce the next training is scheduled for May 9 and 10 in Bellingham, Washington. Course tuition is $200.
This training is open to any public health worker who wishes to gain insight into how housing and health are related. It is also recommended for housing inspectors, building officials, energy and weatherization contractors or any one who has need to visit homes in their work. During the training, participants will learn about specific environmental hazards that occur in homes. The training will also cover the seven principles of healthy housing.
