As part of your work, do you visit homes to provide health or inspection services? If so, the “Essentials for Healthy Homes Practitioners Course” will be of interest to you.
This course is offered periodically through NWCPHP, and we are pleased to announce the next training is scheduled for September 22 and 23 in Portland, Oregon.
While this particular offering is co-sponsored by the Multnomah County Health Department, it is open to any public health worker who wishes to gain insight into how housing and health are related. During the training, participants will learn about specific environmental hazards that occur in homes. The training will also cover the seven principles of healthy housing.
