July 6, 2015

Every summer, public health practitioners and NWCPHP faculty and staff gather for two very special traditions, the Summer Institute for Public Health Practice and Northwest Public Health Leadership Institute. As part of these annual trainings, both learning communities come together for an afternoon plenary session followed by a networking reception.

At this year's reception, the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice will celebrate its 25th anniversary. NWCPHP staff and faculty would like to welcome you to a fun-filled night of networking, reflection, and celebration. We will be honoring past, present, and future collaborations to improve health in our region.

Join us for a buffet, drinks, and a short program at the University of Washington's scenic Vista Café. We also invite you to attend the preceding Summer Institute Public Health Leaders Forum, which will be held from 3:30–5:00 p.m. at the University of Washington South Campus Center, Room 316. Hosted by Jeff Harris, panelists Patty Hayes, Dorothy Teeter, and John Wiesman will discuss the formation of Accountable Communities of Health and what they mean for health equity in Washington State.
