Keeping up-to-date with skills and current knowledge is important for public health professionals. Now, the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice offers you two new online modules—public health law and business planning—to help you keep your edge!

 

Practical Law for Public Health Officials

As public health professionals and leaders, understanding public health law and its uses is essential to protecting and improving population health. In this module, you will learn when to involve legal counsel, how to get effective legal advice, and which laws will affect your decision-making ability when facing public health threats. By the end of the module, you will be able to use core concepts of public health law to more effectively protect the public’s health and at the same time avoid legal trouble. Learn more.

 

Business Planning for Public Health Programs

Do you have a program that you want to continue after your grant runs out? Do you need a new approach to generating revenue? If so, it may be time to develop a business plan.
