She will share how these results can be used to promote employee engagement, demonstrate leadership’s commitment to training, and maximize training dollars.

Tina Abbott, MSW, will discuss how human resources specialists and executive leaders at Public Health - Seattle & King County are using the Council on Linkages Core Competencies to build their very first workforce development plan. Cindy Gleason, BS, will then share how her agency became the first in the nation to identify training needs based on emergency preparedness capabilities and how they used the results.
