NWCPHP is hiring an Associate Director for Strategic Partnerships, who will be responsible for building strong, collaborative partnerships for NWCPHP, and position it for long-term success. The position is half-time and temporary, to last for nine months.

The Associate Director for Strategic Partnerships, on behalf of NWCPHP, will create and maintain positive business relationships locally, regionally, and nationally, with particular focus on the needs of public health practitioners in the six-state region of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming.

“We are searching for someone who will be the public ‘face’ of NWCPHP and fill a position that is critical to our continued success,” said NWCPHP Director Betty Bekemeier, PhD, MPH, RN, FAAN. “We are excited to meet with strong candidates who can take this leadership role within NWCPHP and just run with it.”

A major role for the Associate Director for Strategic Partnerships will be pursuing and overseeing all grant and contract opportunities and activities for NWCPHP, and moving forward the training, research, and evaluation activities of NWCPHP through strategic planning.

The position also calls for building, expanding, and strengthening NWCPHP’s network of connections, funders, and stakeholders, and partners, and increasing NWCPHP’s visibility and desirability as a research/training/evaluation partner in the area of public health practice.
