The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice is now accepting nominations for its Distinguished Alumni and Community Innovator awards. Honorees will be chosen by committee and awards will be presented at NWCPHP's 25th anniversary reception on August 5.

The Distinguished Alumni Award will be given to an institute or certificate alumnus or alumna in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the field of public health. This award will honor an individual who has made a significant, positive impact in their organization or community by applying classroom learning to the field in creative, significant, or innovative ways. Individuals nominated for this award must have completed either the Summer Institute for Public Health Practice, Northwest Public Health Leadership Institute, or Public Health Management Certificate. The Community Innovator Award will be given to an organization or agency from the Northwest region who has advanced community health through an innovative program, partnership, or policy. Organizations nominated for this award must demonstrate exceptional resourcefulness and creativity. This award honors an innovator who is located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, or Alaska. Download the Community Innovator Award nomination form.
