In the March session of Hot Topics in Practice, Public Health Nurse Deborah Giedosh, EdD, shares how her team developed and delivered public health curriculum to support incarcerated dads and their reentry from the Goose Creek Correctional Center.
In this one-hour presentation, Giedosh will explain the origins of the “Healthy Dads, Healthy Families, Healthy Communities Program,” review the topics covered and classroom conversations her team experienced, and share lessons learned about implementing a health outreach program inside a correctional facility.
