The spring/summer 2010 issue of Northwest Public Health, "Building on Yesterday, Ready for Tomorrow" celebrates the 40th anniversary of the UW School of Public Health and the 20th anniversary of the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice. Peer-reviewed articles explore changes in environmental regulation, technology, and social norms. Bud Nicola, Kristine Gebbie, and Maxine Hayes provide their perspectives on changes in the field.
