In the March session of Hot Topics, evaluation specialists from Group Health Research Institute will introduce the concept of “population dose” and explain how it can be used to enhance the impact of projects related to community safety, chronic disease prevention, healthy eating, and active living. Presenters will also describe how to use this concept as an evaluation tool.

Presenters:

Allen Cheadle, PhD, is a Senior Researcher and Director of the Center for Community Health and Evaluation at Group Health Research Institute. He has worked for 25 years in the field of community-based initiative implementation and evaluation.

Ian Maki, MPH, is a Research Associate and Program Manager in the Center for Community Health and Evaluation at Group Health Research Institute. His work focuses on the evaluation of community interventions in rural places.
