Are you looking for education and outreach materials on environmental health topics? Would you like to learn more about conducting an environmental health assessment in your community?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recently posted environmental health resources and tools online in a creative format called “Capa-City.”  Available resources include examples of environmental health policies, workforce development and training information, and community outreach materials for a variety of topics.

These resources were created by public health agencies from across the nation, using funds intended to enhance environmental health capacity. Many of the tools and publications featured on Capa-City are from local and tribal agencies here in the Northwest, including Island County Health Department in Washington, Multnomah County Health Department in Oregon, and the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium.
