NWCPHP is now accepting registrations for our three institute and certificate programs. Early-bird rates are available until June 30, 2013 for the Northwest Public Health Leadership Institute, Public Health Management Certificate, and the Summer Institute for Public Health Practice.

Northwest Public Health Leadership Institute

August 2013 – April 2014
Distance-based with three Seattle on-sites

Learn the complexities of public health leadership by: creating an individualized leadership plan based on personal assessments and professional coaching; developing and executing an individual leadership project with your workplace; and participating in group assignments, webinars, and discussions using the problem-based learning model. Public Health Management Certificate

August 2013 – July 2014
Distance-based with one Seattle on-site

Build skills to manage people, teams, money, and information by: completing multiple online classes, including core courses and electives; participating in webinars and distance-based discussions with other public health scholars from around the country; and choosing an integrated project, which applies skills directly to your workplace. Summer Institute for Public Health Practice

August 5–8, 2013
On-site at the University of Washington, Seattle

Develop skills through intensive training in one of seven courses. Each course offers practical knowledge that participants can take back and use right away. Participants also attend plenary sessions and have plenty of opportunity for networking with other public health professionals. Learn more >
