"Crossing Borders: Shared Public Health Goals" is the theme of the spring-summer 2011 issue of Northwest Public Health.

Peer-reviewed articles explore immigration policy, cross-border collaborations, and the health disparities faced by refugee, Native American/Native Alaskan, and First Nation populations.

This issue grew out of a cross-border symposium held in January. The call for authors attracted academics and practitioners from five states and three Canadian provinces and territories.

The journal is published by the NWCPHP with funding from the UW School of Public Health. Print copies can be ordered at no cost from nph@u.washington.edu.
