NWCPHP is proud to present the 2013 Annual Report, which highlights key activities and accomplishments from the past year.

In 2013, we had 12,420 people participate in our on-demand online courses and web resource trainings, and an estimated 1,520 people participate in our Hot Topics webinar series. These webinars covered contemporary public health issues such as the integration of public health and health care and the emergency response to the fertilizer plant explosion in Texas.

Our staff and faculty traveled to Montana to kick off a customized version of our award-winning Public Health Management Certificate program. In total, the Leadership Institute, Summer Institute, and Management Certificate programs, welcomed 110 participants in 2013—a 50 percent increase over 2012. If you missed out on our exciting programs last year, registration is currently open for our 2014–15 cohort, with early bird discounts ending May 31.

Another key highlight from 2013 was our contracted work with our national, regional, state, local, and tribal public health partners. NWCPHP staff and faculty conducted three major training needs assessments, developed and led a tsunami tabletop exercise, produced a workshop guide and toolkit, and created a custom sustainability report.
