The University of Washington’s Emergency Preparedness and Bioterrorism Awareness Curriculum Development Program equips health profession students to prepare for and respond to public health and bioterrorism emergencies. Through graduate-level courses, a graduate certificate program, and a student practicum, the program trains students to:
- Meet the needs of disaster or bioterrorism victims
- Participate in a coordinated, multidisciplinary response to an emergency
- Effectively activate appropriate response mechanisms
