Suzanne Wood will serve as the Principal Investigator on the Meridian Center for Health (MC4H) Project. She will lead the development of the collaborative theory of change, logic model development, and implementation plan.

Wood is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Services at the University of Washington. Her primary research interests relate to the strategic management of health care organizations, particularly in the areas of national health system capacity building, organizational alignment with strategy and the implementation of initiatives, performance improvement, and leader/manager development.

Wood has participated in and/or chaired health care mini-tracks for various health systems conferences, and served as a guest speaker and instructor for several international health systems development projects with the Department of Defense and the US Department of State. She is currently a Fellow with the American College of Health Care Executives (FACHE), and is a past Fellow with the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME), and Chair, Management Faculty Forum, Association of University Professors in Health Administration. Wood has 26 years experience in various executive roles as an active duty and Reserve officer in the US Navy, specifically in Navy Medicine.
