Chuck Treser is Director and Instructor for Healthy Homes courses and a resource for other environmental health trainings.

Chuck is a Senior Lecturer and Undergraduate Program Advisor in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences in the University of Washington School of Public Health. He is also the principal investigator on a cooperative agreement between the Association of Environmental Health Academic Programs and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, designed to improve environmental health practice through promoting and strengthening environmental health academic programs.

He remains professionally active in environmental and public health professional organizations such as the American Public Health Association. He is a diplomat in the American Academy of Sanitarians and a member of the Board, and is a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Environmental Health Science & Protection Accreditation Council.

Chuck began his career in environmental public health as an inspector with the Allegheny County Health Department in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1971, and worked there until 1980 when he was recruited to the University of Washington.
