The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice's Public Health Training Center, Washington State Department of Health, and Harborview Injury Prevention and Research Center invite leaders from public health, health care, and community organizations to a one-day summit to discuss successful strategies and collaborations.

Overview

Leaders from public health, health care, and community organizations are invited to a one-day summit in SeaTac, Washington, to learn policy, practice, and partnership innovations for injury and violence prevention. Participants will:

  • Develop new and strategic partnerships to leverage resources.
  • Gain an understanding of the changing public health and health system landscape for injury and violence prevention.
  • Identify promising policy solutions to advance injury and violence prevention.
  • Innovate practices to transform the injury and violence prevention landscape.

Intended Audiences

Decision-makers and leaders from public health, health care, and community-based organizations who are interested in injury and violence prevention. Includes: senior-level program managers; hospital executives and administrators; physicians and clinical leaders; researchers; leaders from health departments, community health organizations, and community health centers.

Cancellations and Substitutions

All cancellations must be in writing. Refunds, less a $50 cancellation fee, will be issued up to October 24, 2015. After that date, registration fees are forfeited. Participant substitutions are permitted at no charge up to October 24, 2015. After that date, a $50 fee will be issued. No substitutions are allowed after November 1.

Accommodations

A block of hotel rooms is reserved for summit attendees. Mention you are part of the event for a discounted rate before October 15, 2015.
