Overview

In 2015, leaders from public health, health care, and community organizations attended a one-day summit in SeaTac, Washington, to learn policy, practice, and partnership innovations for injury and violence prevention. Goals for the summit were that participants would:

  • Develop new and strategic partnerships to leverage resources.
  • Gain an understanding of the changing public health and health system landscape for injury and violence prevention.
  • Identify promising policy solutions to advance injury and violence prevention.
  • Innovate practices to transform the injury and violence prevention landscape.

Intended Audiences

Decision-makers and leaders from public health, health care, and community-based organizations who are interested in injury and violence prevention. Includes: senior-level program managers; hospital executives and administrators; physicians and clinical leaders; researchers; leaders from health departments, community health organizations, and community health centers.
