2015 Injury and Violence Prevention Summit
The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice's Public Health Training Center, Washington State Department of Health, and Harborview Injury Prevention and Research Center invited leaders from public health, health care, and community organizations to a one-day summit to discuss successful strategies and collaborations.
In 2015, leaders from public health, health care, and community organizations attended a one-day summit in SeaTac, Washington, to learn policy, practice, and partnership innovations for injury and violence prevention. Goals for the summit were that participants would:
- Develop new and strategic partnerships to leverage resources.
- Gain an understanding of the changing public health and health system landscape for injury and violence prevention.
- Identify promising policy solutions to advance injury and violence prevention.
- Innovate practices to transform the injury and violence prevention landscape.
Decision-makers and leaders from public health, health care, and community-based organizations who are interested in injury and violence prevention. Includes: senior-level program managers; hospital executives and administrators; physicians and clinical leaders; researchers; leaders from health departments, community health organizations, and community health centers.
