Funding & Networks
The following agencies and foundations help support NWCPHP's training, research, evaluation, and communication activities. NWCPHP also takes part in several national networks dedicated to public health practice and workforce development.
Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)
Funding supports the Northwest Public Health Training Center (PHTC) and the Maternal and Child Health Professionals Leadership Training Program.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
Funding supports the Northwest Preparedness and Emergency Response Learning Center (NWPERLC) and Northwest Preparedness and Emergency Response Research Center (NWPERRC).
Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ)
Funding supports the project and the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Partnership (PCORP).
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
Funding supported the Strategic Analysis, Research and Training (START) Domestic Program, which provides consultation services to local public health organizations through faculty-student teams.
de Beaumont Foundation
Funding supported the Public Health Management Certificate—an online and in-person program which helps public health professionals build core management skills.
National Healthy Homes Training Center and Network
NWCPHP partners with the National Healthy Homes Training Center and Network to provide a variety of in-person trainings related to healthy housing.
National Public Health Leadership Development Network (NLN)
NWCPHP has been a member of the National Public Health Leadership Development Network (NLN) since its inception in 1994.
National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI)
NWCPHP joined the National Network of Public Heath Institutes (NNPHI) in 2014 as an affiliate member.
