Claire B. Cole
Responsibilities: Research Assistant coordinating the NWCPHP Leadership Institute and Summer Institute.
Background: Ms. Cole is a first year
Master of Public Health candidate in the Community-Oriented Public Health Practice
Program at the University of Washington's School of Public Health and Community Medicine. She comes to NWCPHP and UW from New York City, and is an experienced organizer
for grassroots community activism campaigns for reproductive justice, women's leadership, and civic engagement. She received her BA from New York University,
and is originally from Houston, Texas.
Amy Knopf
Responsibilities: Research Assistant
supporting Public Health - Seattle & King County in the evaluation of preparedness
activities funded by a grant from Office of the Assistant Secretary of
Preparedness and Response.
Background: Ms. Knopf completed her
Master of Public Health degree at the University of Washington
in June 2008. She will begin doctoral studies in the School of Nursing summer 2008. Ms. Knopf earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Kentucky
University in 2000 and then worked in Washington, D.C.
as a registered nurse at the National Institutes of Health and at a primary
care clinic for the homeless.
